Hey,

This thread can be used to talk about seasonal sports and how your workout changes to accomodate the weather.  I look forward to hearing from all three people who might respond to this...  Anyway, I'll start things off by talking about how my workout changes.

This year I was really looking forward to running in the snow.  It makes you feel so much heavier and you get a great satisfying workout.  Unfortunately we hardly got any snow.  I plan to concentrate on bulking up in the gym.  I can spend a lot more time there on Winter break.  I hate treadmills, but that is probably where any of my cardio is going to happen.

This X-mas I am thinking about remodeling my basement and making it into a home gym.  The biggest problem has to be that the ceiling is lower than in the rest of the house.  So IDK how pullups are going to work... I suppose I could make the bar lower and hold my feet up?  I plan on building the pullup and dip stations myself... also I will see if I can make a power rack.  Then I will find a cheap place to buy some other standard equipment.  WalMart actually has that now, so maybe I will see about the quality of that.

I am really looking forward to some great workouts once I get that set-up.  If anybody has suggestions for it, or already has their own home gym, please don't hesitate to post.

Running in the snow... I don't think you could pay me to do that LOL!  Home gyms are great especially if you've got the space, I need a gym to keep focus and motivation there's too many distractions at home for me.

Keep the food intake clean while you're bulking up, I wanted too badly to hit 250 before the end of the year and I think I have Mcdonalds to thank for my last 10 pounds.

Good luck man.
